What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3473

Stopped at Goldfinger Brewing earlier today for the first time. Had their Pils (see below), Bohemian Pils, and Vienna. All were extremely good as expected. I'll be back for sure.



Now back at my place having a Bissel Brothers The Substance Ale (Falconers Flight, Centennial, Apollo, Chinook, Simcoe). Been a long while since I've had this one. Old school hop character brings big navel orange, lemon, yellow peach, bright floral, ruby red grapefruit flesh and peel, grass, earthiness, and pine resin. Some breadiness, honey, and slight caramel come from the malt. Finishes wonderfully dry, bitter, and clean considering the sweeter start of the beer. I'd drink a lot of this if I lived up in Maine.

Love that one from Trilium! I have one squirreled away somewhere. Trilium is mostly known for their IPAS but they make some great stouts. I love their “Almond Crunch “!
