    First time having a COLD IPA. Read a little about it today because my local brewery Magnify just released their take on it today.

    This is in many ways anti new England IPA. Its pretty damn tasty and reminds me an exaggerated take on a west coast IPA. Super Dry finish, very lean malt bill, high bitterness and aromatics.

    In many ways I can see this being the next evolutionary step for West Coast IPAs and really brings me back to those old school days of high IBUs west coast brew exactly with a modern take and new school hops.

    This one has Galaxy, Mosaic, and Columbus

    So have you guys had a COLD IPA and if so what are your thoughts ?

    @champ103 - I watch a few hours PBS tops a month, between the TV “news” and political ads, which lol need several more beers to survive.

    The King of Beers to go with the “Nashville Hot”sandwich. Have Tabasco on standby.

    Enjoyed the first 5 1/2 innings of the Midnight Sun, crashing shortly after 3 am Chicago time. Like the game I saw live, this one also ended in extra innings with an Alaska Goldpanners victory.

    I agree. When I go to a bar I am trying to escape from the endless news, phone calls, and texts. I will admit though that I do take a picture or two of the beer and/or oysters I have in front of me.

    I am sorry to hear about the accident. I am glad though that it was not more serious as it could have been.

    Wax Wings Into the Labyrinth: Route 30 TIPA. Bright white grape, mango sorbet, pineapple gummis, ripe passionfruit, white peach, citrus zest, and sugar-dusted pine resin sticking out. Not a lick of alcohol and it's nicely balanced between sweet hop and dryness/bitterness. Soft, silky, and creamy. Top shelf stuff for the style.

    Just in the final stages of packing, prepping, and going over gear list crap for the Leadville 100 run camp. Don't worry, they're only planning to make us run about 60 miles over 40 hours worth this weekend (Fri night to Sunday). Should be fun.

    Oh man, sorry to hear about this; I got whaled on by a car in Austin in the late 90s and it took me off my bike (since then). Just don't trust myself and traffic anymore. I hope you recover quickly and can find a temporary solution for transportation. Hope your city/village's public transpo can do for a bit!?

    Not nearly as good as the Maine Beer Company IPA I had but one of the better session IPAs I have had.

    Sorry to hear you had a bad experience as well, you can't trust traffic, some drivers just really fucking suck. That fucking asshole hit me at a crosswalk. Public transportation is all right around here, I just can't fucking stand it. That's one of the main reasons I got the bike in the first place. Maybe I can borrow another bike from someone, it's gonna be real shitty, but will have to do for the time being.
