I was going to pick up a stovepipe of that today and revisit it, but it was canned on 3/3/22 so I passed and opted for our local Wormtown Be Hoppy instead - canned 6/13/22

If I see it reasonably fresh i will pick some up and try it again since I know you have good taste.

Another one of the beers I picked up in Portland last weekend that I can no longer get locally. Haven’t had this one in a long time. Happy Friday all! Cheers!

 

This beer is $22/4pack at the brewery in Philly (the new OH location) and I bought a single for $8 from a bottle shop. This does make any sense to me.

 

There are several great breweries in Chicago, but only one American Wrestling Association Heavyweight Champion of the World!

This classic pulled to celebrate my first ever Brewery Subscription for the 2022-2023 Deep Woods Release.

Love your Tour de Belgium shot. Never knew they went through Belgium until yesterday.

It's amazing you get Hop Butcher in your grocery store! I don't believe they are even sold here in grocery stores (just craft beer stores and local big box liquor store).

Hoping they open their new Lincoln Ave. location sometime this year.

Murky orange liquid crowned by a massive three finger off white foam crown , aggressive pour into my Spiegelau a ipa glass, settles to a plump island and eventually islands and rings with spotty lacings

Aroma is orange and grapefruit citrus

Taste is a Smooth tropical fruits with grapefruit

Hoppy with no bite, smooth and almost creamy with a semi dry finish

Good beer by two great brewers

 

This week wasn’t nearly as relaxing as last week, but it has ended. Therefore I will call this a weekend:


Maybe that will catch on. Pouring a beer at this ending is of course optional, but encouraged.

Dual hoppy lager by Vibrissa isn’t bad, but I’m wondering if Citra is the best hop to go with a lager.

 

Shoot that's a month younger than what I got in the pack. Unfortunately the stovepipes I can get are from 1/27 I'm not messing with those. I'll be keeping a eye out for fresh stock tho it's a decent beer imo. I'm glad to be able to taste the 1s I got.

I don't normally mess with Sierra Nevada much it's a shelf turd here and I'm not into their things line up. I dig the Celebration, Pale Bock, Pale ale, Torpedo and Atomic tho.
