    Im sorry,I love Fantome de Noel. In fact Ive been looking for it all winter with no luck. To each their own but Im sad it ended up in the drain.

    Boulevard Rye on Rye bought on the day it was released. Decided I wouldn't crack it until the first snow...well that happened today. Outside of my normal style preferences but wow I like it. Started in on it before dinner and the high ABV took effect right away. Some of the best tator tots I ever made... or I was feeling the buzz and just thought so. Whatever. Still sipping the last of the bottle now. Yum.

    Ah, kind sir since you will permit me to say: no, not everything that comes from there is gold, but rather the negative stereotypes that many associate with, I would like to kindly dispel and rather as a human who tries his best to not be egoistical, I share my love and passion.

    Spent four years in Ohio and never tried this one. Now finally getting around to it from NY.

    I really think this was a bad bottle. I read a bunch of reviews and they do mention sour notes, but this was way over the top. I picked it up on sale over the summer so who knows. I'll definitely try it again in the future if I have a chance.

    I think he's referring to the less than desirable reputation that Italian beers have, what being more noted for the quality of their wines. You know, Moretti, Peroni....standard lagers though the former puts out, imho, an excellent doppelbock.
