    Thought it was time to get back to my Christmas brews. Tonight I'm having an SA White Christmas. Pretty good and I am actually in the mood for a witbier (sp?). Now, if we could only have a REAL white Christmas here in Chicagoland. My mood would be complete.

    I did not know that this is the way you felt. Well, for my defense, I do not understand what I have done to make you feel this way, as I have not been raised to be disrespectful, nor be egotistical in my social dealings. If this is what you believe to be pompous then I can not change this thought that you have. I am just a simple dude making his way in the world.

    And then the other subject matter would be you do not like metal music.Nothing more can be said.

    Thanks for the response. I might give it a try. I'm not a huge Scotch drinker (I prefer Bourbon), but I keep a bottle of Lagavulin in the cupboard because every once in a while, I get a craving for that smoky, briny flavor.

    Edit: I am reminded that the other obvious timely choice would be La Fin du Monde, but I don't have one of those on hand. Oh well.

    started night off with 2 celebrations while eating pizza...then went to a local beer bar..had a PBR can (i know ridicule is coming, but i wanted something i could pound), then had a celebration...headed home, had a homebrew, nowdrinking a founders breakfast stout to cap the night off while watching the BYU game...hopefully the mormons can pull one out as i am in the BA bowl pickem (and i am 2-2 so far) and winner gets 13 boxes of 60 oz of beer!!!
