    ...I don't stretch every day, but when I do:
    • knee rotations - feet together, slight bend at the knees - 30 count in both directions
    • bend at the hips stretch and touch hands to the floor - 30 to 60 seconds
    • deep squat held with feet flat and butt nearly touching the floor - 30 to 60 seconds
    • horse stance - 30 to 60 seconds
    • horse stance lateral movements - 30 count (basically holding hips and knees level and sliding weight over from knee to knee
    • crane stance - 30 to 60 seconds
    ...a lot of stuff I basically learned decades ago with some tai chi warm up exercises...bicycling, walking, and very, very short runs (10-20 yards max) seem to keep the old 65 year-old refurbished knee in good working order...:grin:

    #2, the Three Floyds impy stout game is not to be trifled with - they will smack you upside the head with a 2 x 4 just for kicks, and then ask if you’d like another whack.

    Or three.

    This behemoth (13.5% ABV) has some sweetness, loads of bourbon, and tart cherries and a bit of banana to ensure you’re paying attention. Absolutely love it.

    First off, your look/ sound much younger, so good for you. My challenges will be strengthening my left quads after years of non use, and correcting my walking , which I’ve had a pronounced limp. A major retraining of brain- muscle coordination is going on.

    Appreciation post: I do listen to your classical music posts… it’s the type of music that in very weary work out mode you can get into. Listening to classical mostly right now, although The Who , Stones are peppered in there. And yea, you and me keeping Dylan around in the WBAYD world!

    Pps lol can’t do any of those stretches,,, except the horse’s ass which I’ve perfected

    ...I go to sleep with our local FM classical music station (KCME) playing in the background for about two hours...love classical music, especially late- and post-Romantic symphonies and concertos (i.e., Mahler, Sibelius, Holst, Rodrigo, Chavez)...

    That’s very cool. My kid has turned me onto so much varied music that I’ve enjoyed. It’s like the movies…. I like to be surprisingly moved when I didn’t expect it!

    crazy that hundreds years ago you might be lucky to hear a classic played once in your lifetime…. Now you just you tube it.

    Too Far Outta Sight 3. A triple dry-hopped DIPA brewed by Veil. Last of the four pack.

    The brewery releases its new stuff each Tuesday. I will check their website tomorrow and, if I see any I want, I will brave the rush hour traffic and get some.

    Cool, thanks. Maybe I'll try a few this week before I head to Vegas, and perhaps an extended tour in September. Will try to post a few from Vegas the next two weeks as well.

    You still trying to catch ballgames in Chicago?

    Liked your pics from reports Long Island this weekend. Still haven't made it out East since I started drinking craft beer, but need to rectify that with Portland, Maine and Stowe, Vermont my first planned targets.

    As one who took care of our in-ground pool for 57 years... that is truly one job I will never miss ... ever!! It's fun at first and then it becomes a chore.. and then it's just a freegin' PITA.

    That is a kick ass quadruple IPA! Usually I reserve ABV beers at that level in the stratosphere to bourbon barrel stouts. I bet it is good though.
