    After a rough Wednesday, thankful to have the day off today. We unexpectedly lost one of our original pups yesterday :cry: Stewie was well-loved for the 12 years we had him and will be missed tremendously.

    I have something special chilling in beer fridge to raise in his doggy honor later. For now, going with a peach wheat ale from Vernal Brewing..

    This is such a fantastic beer. The year was 1996: I purchased both All Eyez On Me & The Score in Chicago. My brethren were w/ me. Ron Expose, Kevin Mazique, and Mickey Campbell. I've kept up w/ Ron over the years, and he's doing well. Mazique on and off, and Mickey Campbell has basically ghosted everyone. I keep the memories w/ me. They never leave, and I can always go back to that place in an instant. I love you, and I love this beer. It's on another level. Cheers!

    Sorry to hear that. Sorry for y'all's loss. He looks like a awesome dog. My better half and I love chihuahuas and will only own chihuahuas. Sadly I have 1 that has lymphoma, it's been 2 months since she was diagnosed so it's a toss up on how much time we have left with her. Buried 3 of her puppies earlier this year to. Iv had hell with pets this year.

    I'll drink my next 1 to Stewie. Cheers!

    Edit: Sylvie, only baby that made it out of 4. She's a firecracker to. Born on new years while I was conveniently hammered drunk.

    First, condolences @muchloveforhops3 - terrible losing your pupper.

    Second, I'm breaking that beer vow, trying a second.
    I regret it - this Cumbre Trail Hazard DIPA is a monster, but waaaay unbalanced, boozy, wood note, just bleah. Not sure I can drink the whole thing and this was supposed to be the final FINAL beer before I hit the taper sober wagon for a bit. So it's a little disappointing but the 9.3% will help me get over it... soon. If I can drink it all. Drain poured the first can thinking that can was totally off, but no, it is what it is.

    Edit: I wonder if this thing has Sabro in it, because if it does, that's why. :slight_frown:

    ...another 'old' beer purchased earlier today...at nearly five months of age, this little beauty has more aroma, more presence, more balanced and satisfying taste than many of its fellow west coast (let alone hazy) IPA brothers and sisters...RR and Maine Beer Co. are two companies whose 'older' IPAs I don't hesitate to buy...

    While the hoppy stuff I had from Zywiec was just pretty decent for the price point, this is actually a really nice Baltic Porter that has a great balance of malt and hops going on, with the hops being relatively distinct here, as it should be for the style.

    ...what do you use to animate your jpeg...???...I've heard it can be done, but haven't really explored it (I use to toy around with animated GIF creations back in my web development days)...
