Sweet citrus rind and honeydew melon on the nose. Palate brings big, sweet, boozy notes with an abundance of overripe orange and freshly cut grass. Mildly boozy, mildly bitter on the finish. Super well balanced, and so damn tasty.

 

Thanks, I normally use a DLSR anyway, but I've had so much bird activity lately that I switched to a larger lens

My first Ayinger Oktoberfest of the year. I am completely befuddled by the color of this beer. I was not expecting a wiesn pouring this out and had to go back to last year to figure out if I was crazy or not. No clue why, but it's definitely different in appearance and flavor.

 

Third straight day of open window weather in this neck of the woods. Bells Octoberfest Beer. Cheers!

History lesson for me today: Burton IPA from Shred Monk out of Bozeman MT. First time trying the style.

 

Sorry to hear about Rockets troubles, cushings is tough on animals, it can kind of be controlled but unfortunately as you know there isn't a solution.. The fluids will help, we give our hyperthyroid cat fluids every 3 days or so when he starts to look lethargic. It's amazing how he perks up. Peace and comfort for you're good buddy.

 

Maine Beer Company Lunch. Found this stored cold, a rarity in these parts of PA. Not as fresh as I'd like (6/14), but better than fresher at room temp. Great head retention and lacing.
