    Happy Hoppy Sunday Advocates! Thanks @belvedere86 for starting todays thread. Another sunny but cooler day here and I love it. Just had some leftovers from yesterdays grillin' and I'll start todays good times with Murphy's Stout. Guess I truly need an official Murphy's glass huh? Our house is all opened up as the temp was 53F last night/this morn so it's time to crank up my great grandma's Victrola. It gets really loud.

    I got a mix a six of Oktoberfest beers at the local grocery store today for 12 bucks. Not bad for mostly mass marketed brews.
    First off is Sam Adams Oktoberfest.
    The color is beautiful but the taste just doesn't follow. No real head to speak of, but I'm married so I'm used to that.
    I hope the Festbier is better?

    A coffee beer for brunch - Angry Chair’s “Fionn” Hazelnut Coffee Porter (2022):

    Coffee is strong both nose and taste; hazelnut on top. Thin feel, but hey, it’s a porter. Linger is nutty malt, and coffee stays strong. I think I got this bottle at the brewery in March…anyhoo, a really nice (10.2%) nutty coffee porter. Cheers y’all!

    It's quite an enjoyable beer. Grapefruit and pineapple taste with none of the nasty yeast bite that I get from many NEIPA'S.
