    You may be right. Gotta tell you though that last summer wife and I ordered 50 oysters for lunch at Awful Arthur’s in OBX, NC. Also had a bowl of clam chowder soup. It was way too much to eat but we managed. 50 clams we can do. 50 oysters is pushing our limits.

    I am ready for oysters. Actually, been ready for weeks now. Someday we need to meet up and do some serious beer consumption and seafood carnage.

    The guy who used to drive to the coast/bay each Friday to bring back oysters for local folks has been nowhere to be found. I miss it. Used to get 25 fresh oysters almost every Friday.

    My last Maplewood Pulaski Pilsner. Took the day off, but spent a lot of time deep cleaning so I am ready to relax. This is a straightforward dry hopped Pilsner. Pretty smooth.

    Want the same outcome, and maybe some of the excitement of, but not the worry of the ‘80 NLCS.

    Watched a game 5 replay the other night. My crotchety old ass misses the pace and style of play from that era, though the players now are obviously better trained for the game they’re playing today.

    I might need to get into the shipping business as a third career. Like I want one of those.

    Sarcasm aimed at third career, not Pliney or Makers, to be clear :grin:

    Are there meds for hyperthyroidism? A have hypothyroidism (almost 30 years now) and take a med (Synthroid generic) to treat it.
