    For the record, absolutely delivers on the promised elements - it's Backwoods Bastard, a bourbon barrel-aged Scotch ale, but with vanilla, cinnamon, and maple...11.1% abv, 9.20.22 bottling... Takes the base beer and makes it into dessert - sweeter, which dials back the shellac, and with a smoothing vanilla, a hint of maple, and the cinnamon is a subtle tingle at the back of the throat... Bourbon impressions bring all the elements together with a sweet booziness... A solid big beer sipper... Helluva lotta fun - recommended...
