    Had my first barleywine recently, at Ale Wife in Queens, New York (Long Island City), and liked it. Bought another kind retail to try and did not care for it. I guess not all barleywines are the same. Gee, who'd have thought, right? :wink: Seriously, I'm hoping to try other barleywines soon for additional comparison.

    After the FBS last night this one is definitely leaving me wanting...but I guess FBS would have that effect on pretty much all coffee beers. Still decent just wish the coffee was more aggressive...

    Ending my evening with this local offering. Blue Point- sour cherry imperial stout. Just released in bottles and man does this stuff flow nicely. The cherry is very subtle and not sour at all.

    It's my 25th birthday and we're celebrating by opening our first '12 Abyss and Dissident. We combined the last parts of the bottles to form an "Abyssident," and it really is amazing...

    Then had a very nice 2007 Petite Syrah with the roast my wife made. Now I'm enjoying one of these.

    Crown Royal Maple is pretty damn good, and I don't even like normal Crown that much.
