I'm having this too at this exact moment, and I concur with it be a little hot. Booze has some sting at the end of it. Stellar beer though.

After a long day at Hershey Park with my girl and her fam, sat down with my first Lost Abbey brew, Gift of the Magi. I have to say, I'm a kind of underwhelmed by this, especially given how revered this brewery seems to be (maybe Biere de Garde's just aren't my thing? Another first tonight). It's not bad by any means, but nothing to write home about. I'm anxious to try something else from LA that will really blow me away...any suggestions?

I'm a big fan of Bjork but I've never tried an Icelandic beer until tonight, Icelandic Toasted Porter- Einstök Ölgerð. Its actually an American porter but hey, its still from Iceland and its quite tasty!

Attended a family gathering tonight and enjoyed a couple of brews. Red Hook 8-4-1 from 2010 and a recent Williamsburg Alerwerks Cafe Royale. Red Hook was meh....CR was excellent.
