I'm cleaning up around the house before Mrs. BudsNpils gets back tomorrow evening. And waiting on some chicken to finish thawing so I can make some chicken noodle soup for the next few days.

Three Notchd Biggie Smores impy stout

 

I was curious if you had drank that 1 yet. I enjoy it, they make some good beers. They make a good oatmeal stout, and their märzen a few months back was excellent. I'll get you some more of their beers next trade. Cheers!

Drinking my last Texas beer, Lone Pint Tornado Shark Strong Ale. I was curious about the American strong ale designation, but one sip tells me it's not an IPA, so I looked it up

beers, had no idea. @budsNpils I enjoyed the Hoppenheimer, very well crafted and tasty,
it has a lot of Sierra Nevada characteristics to it

Bitter lemon peel. Crisp and easy. The Mosaic plays nice with the Citra. Cheers!

 

Keeping it light before poker this evening. Having a Kolsch from Liability Brewing in Greenville, SC. Not bad but was hoping for more esters from the yeast.

Went on another nice hike this afternoon with a buddy - 52 and sunny in December - I will take that!

Got this new Anchor 2022 holiday ale glass today, that I ordered last week - they threw in the 2021 version as well - since I was not able to order it on their online shop last season.....such a great beer!



where else will you find a beautiful etched glass like this every year??

Got a Dogfish Head ‘Hive Revelry’ - a golden Barleywine brewed with honey.

Dogfish Head Miami opened in May of 2021in the hip Wynwood area of Miami & closed its doors November of 2022.
They say it was a rent increase issue that led to its demise. Others say they just never caught on and folks would rather support the Local breweries that created the Wynwood beer scene and culture.

Anyways, this is a fine honey forward elixir that was made at the Miami brewery. I grabbed a 4 pack during their closing party. Cheeeeeeers!

 

Naturally, Celebration was going to make its way into the mix

 

Busy day today, fixing a lot of issues for work. Also ended up having to replace the Window washer pump in my car - it was leaking and he thought it was probably just the hose but when we got in there and looked at it, the pump was shot and it was leaking at the rubber grommet where the pump attaches. Amazingly, the pump was still working - all new pump now and grommet.

Can't go through winter around here without a functioning window washer. Right now I'm having this Zero Gravity Moonshadow IIPA an relaxing on the sofa.

WTF - did @vabeerguy leave us? Apparently we lost @Squire as well.
