It's a bell for your bike. My son has one on his bike. The distro guy gave the bar manager at work a bunch. I sent one to my buddy in NC and he put it on his kegerator and rings it every time he pours a beer. Ha Ha!!

Glad you liked...The 3rd Coast Old Ale is one of my favorites in the style...that one is an 09 and this beer just gets better the longer you wait.

 

I had a bottle of batch 8211 a couple of months back and thought it was past it's prime
Oh...and can anyone answer me why BA Batch 9000 is hand written on the bottle as Batch 11590?

 

I think, and I could be wrong, but I think BA 9000 is just the original Batch 9000 stuck into barrels to age and then bottled when it was ready. By the time it was ready, they were up to 11590. Does that make sense?

Like Steimie said, the regular (non-BA) Batch 9,000, which I believe was brewed in 2009 or 2010, was their 9,000th batch of beer. You have Batch 9,000 that they aged in bourbon barrels and recently released and sold only at the brewery with a bottle count of 1502. That's why it is batch 11,590.

I have to say that I was a little intimidated when I got you as my target after seeing your pictures of your epic drinking sessions that you call a normal week day.
