I think its the best Bret Easton Ellis novel -> movie but I can kind of see where you're coming from. The book being WAY more graphic and detailed tends to lay on the satire/insanity much thicker.

Curious why you hate the movie though?

 

Started with a Zombie Dust, finishing off a BCBS, thinking of opening a 2010 3 Philosphers 12oz. Starting to get burnt out on beer, thinking of switching back over to whiskey cocktails (old fashioned, sazerac, milk & whiskey.....)
