Goose Island Bourbon County Coffee '22 (Intelligentsia Burundi Turihamwe coffee). Freshly roasted coffee (albeit a little acrid), raisin, plum, brownie batter, dark chocolate, roasted malt, charred oak tannin, some vanillin, bourbon. Not my favorite vintage of this beer, but still very enjoyable.

Bitter citrus, my kinda WC beer. Mid 40s and rain all day here, happy to stay inside and pre-game with some beers. Cheers from South Charleston WV, and have a great day!

Sunday afternoon greetings! Like many of you, I regularly check out the "local" breweries tap lists to see when something goes up I'm interested in. Halfway Crooks has a nice lineup at the moment. Yesterday, I drove 40 minutes one way to downtown ATL to run by HC to pick up some I have not had. First up, Farina Kolsch style (4.8%). This is nice lighter kolsch style. A little more bitterness than many in this style but still within range. This is also one of the better breweries in the are. My only complaint is, if you drink on site, they automatically tack on a 21% service charge.





A tune from our very own @LarryV : La Conversacion. This song has a bit of a bossa nova lean to it IMHO. Makes me wish I was sitting on a warm beach somewhere chilling!

Doing a little pre-gaming ahead of today's NFL games. Found another Marzen in the fridge, so glad i have a few hanging around! Hopefully the games are competitive and entertaining!
