Tickets on Sale Starting at 10 a.m. PST on February 17

Paso Robles, CA: The Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest lands on June 3, 2023 with a curated all-star cast of more than 55 breweries from around the world.

Tickets go on sale at Eventbrite starting at 10 a.m. PST on Friday, February 17. Historically, the event has sold out within minutes, so prospective guests are advised to mark their calendars. Tickets are $125 for general admission, and $250 for early admission. Event proceeds benefit Pioneer Day, a beloved Paso Robles community organization dedicated to local events and historic preservation.

“The Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest was born from a dream of creating a world-class festival featuring some of the best brewers in the world,” said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “This is a day when we can set the sales pitches aside and simply share our beers and stories with passionate craft drinkers.”

Since its inaugural event in 2012, the Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest has become renowned as one of the world’s most esteemed beer festivals. This year’s edition will once again showcase an international cast of leading craft breweries, as well as live music and food from more than 25 local restaurants and purveyors. The brewery, restaurant and music lineup will be announced at a later date. Stay tuned at the fest web page.

    Brewmaster Experience Sweepstakes

Firestone Walker has also unveiled the “Brewmaster Experience” sweepstakes, which includes two tickets to the 2023 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest.

The full prize also includes private tours and behind-the-scenes experiences at Firestone Walker’s Venice, Buellton and Paso Robles breweries, and three nights at local hotels plus lunch and dinner at the brewery taprooms—all culminating in early-entry admission to the fest.

The sweepstakes is open from now through April 30 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Interested craft beer fans may submit their entry via the Brewmaster Experience sweepstakes page. The winner will be randomly drawn after the close of the sweepstakes period.

I have already entered the sweepstakes. It's been four years since I have been to one. So, I will probably try to get tickets.

What’s the ticket sale experience like? Is it like online Bottle Logic bottle sales circa 2018/“This brewery hates locals” or is it a bit more chill than that?

From what I remember is it’s pretty chill, it doesn’t last long tho but it’s not like your smashing f5 to get a ticket

Oh sorry about that, but I'm winning the sweepstakes, so if you want to withdraw now that's fine... next year though it's all you :beers:

Does anyone know if tickets can be transferred to someone else after purchase?

Yes. Didn't have issues sharing tix from the 2020 fest (in 2022) when several folks were running late and we didn't enter at the same time.

$125 extra for one additional hour? That seems crazy. Am I missing something here?

You aren't missing and it's a lot. I did purchase the early tickets one year and it was generally worth it, but they were cheaper.

Not sure what I'm going to do this year...if even can get tickets.

Yeah I didn't either, but I went into the waiting room and had a purchase box pull up after only a couple minutes, went to buy my 2 tickets so I selected and added to cart... and then it said sorry they're no longer available.
Refreshed to see what would happen, the it only gave me the option to buy 1 VIP ticket.
Refreshed again, gave me the option to buy 1 regular ticket. Add that to the cart... sorry no longer available again.

**Editing to add that this has now happened a few times, the site opens up the box saying I can select 1 ticket, add that to my cart and it thinks for a minute and says not available. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, but still annoying.

I don't get to go to a lot of brewery festivals, but I took a shot a getting tickets to this. Lots of refreshing and misses. One general came up and I guess the timing was right. I was able to secure that. But no luck after.

Was looking for two. What's the most common place I can find additional tickets?

Was going to book a room at the Adelaide but all they had with two beds was a smoking room. Did a doubletake on that one but it's true, they offer smoking rooms. Crazy.

Lots will pop-up closer to the event (folks who can't make it, etc)

For those looking for tickets, wait until it gets closer. Tickets start to open up as plans change and people realize they can't make.

Tickets acquired, lodging booked, stoke building, hands down my favorite fest.

And, in addition, rooms become available at the Adelaide as things change for people with tix. Tho, I wonder how much SLO-area hotel rooms will cost these days. Prices were already a little berserk a few years ago.
