What beer are you drinking now? #3775

I haven't had that one in a long time but your short review makes me want to try some. I wish it came in 12 oz cans instead of 16 oz cans, but that's just my preference.

Haven't seen it around here again in months - I wish Alchemist would be more consistent with their drops. Neither of the two stores I was able to get it from can tell me when they're getting more. They don't know until it shows up, and always in limited amounts.

I buy it if I see it, but there's so many other excellent beers to be had it doesn't really bother me anymore. Cheers!

 

Had 2 new beers at the pub, and one I was the first check in on Untappd!…now on the patio with the dogs…it’s 68° as the sun begins to set and nary a waft of wind…Terrapin’s Hopsecutioner IPA:



This weather is why we live in SWFL - I don’t want to get up from my seat…alas, the dogs want their dinner, so I’ll head inside shortly. Cheers!

1) Great Lakes Oktoberfest (6.5%): A Oktoberfest Märzen from Ohio with flavors of rich bread, with notes of sweet cherry and caramel
versus
2) Great Lakes Christmas Ale (7.5%): A Winter Warmer from Ohio that has flavors of caramel, gingerbread, vanilla icing. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Winner:
1) Great Lakes Christmas Ale: A couple of Great Lakes seasonal classics. The Oktoberfest has a rich bread malt, with some notes of sweet cherry and caramel. Their Christmas Ale is my favorite of the Winter Warmer style. It has a gingerbread spice and vanilla frosting flavor that is perfect. Never to late to drink this one.
