They used to let you bring your own beer in, 99% of the tables had cans of TH on them. Since I moved out of the area I haven’t been to the Charlton TH in a while. BT’s is the best BBQ in the area by far.

 

As big as that memory is, Mom did see Elvis, which is classic.
My family went on a Sunday picnic after the 73 Watkins Glen concert of Grateful Dead, Allman Bros, The Band… I was in 3rd grade. We drove around and I remember hundreds of port a potties in a field. We lived 15 miles from that concert

 

I spoiled them, cooked them dinner and breakfast. Probably 2 of the most fussiest and picky eaters you ever met. One of them had an egg and bacon followed by a bag of chocolate covered pretzels.

 

It’s all a test,,,,you passed!

 

Next time you’re in Charlton gps BT Smokehouse it’s like 5 miles away in Sturbridge. A hole in the wall type of place and run by good people.

 

My terrier mix, Wilbur, found this speckled king snake in the yard yesterday. They got into an altercation and I decided the snake needed a new home. While looking for a container to move him to the nearby woods, I lost him. So I let Wilbur back out and he found him for me in two minutes. A quick trip across the street and everyone's happy.

 

Good to know , we are hitting it Memorial Day…. I might so broke I only have TH money,,,my family can eat cereal when we get back to Rochester, if it comes to that

 

Now that we are down this rabbit hole, you will enjoy this

Dylan's performance at Farm Aid. I'll Remember You is a particularly good version here. This was way late at night, I'm sure my parents were trying to get me to sleep at the time, but probably wasn't happening ha (I grew up three blocks from the stadium).

 

Next time I’m rolling out the feed troughs and throwing hay on the floor.

 

One of my fav eras of Dylan, with TP and the HB, love the Queens as well!
