This one vexed me. It has half the taste of Hamms and costs about 5 times more. Boo!

 

Boon Gueuze. Bright, tart, balanced & NOT "sour". A real treat.

 

I'm going to assume the label is not readable, I struggled, that being said, what we got here is Barking Crow, a Barrel Aged Rusiian Imperial Stout from Pig Minds out in the Rockford area. I've been there a few times but don't see many of their beers locally. Very tasty beer.

.....oh yeah, I could have done without the waxy buildup!........

I love a smokey beer so I was excited to see this new brew at the LS. It's good...really subtle on the smoke and scotch ale flavors.. It's nice to have a good 6% around so I'll buy more

Hop Haus #Hazy IPA.....

 

Revolution Deth's Tar BBA Imperial Oatmeal Stout, 14.8% ABV. Pours thick and black with a ring of light-brown bubbles. Nose is chocolate, coconut, and bourbon. Taste follows, plus vanilla, quite sweet, faintly bitter. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding to world-class adjacent.

Said it before, shoulda' bought more. For some reason I thought it was a bitter BBA coffee stout.
