    Had one last night and the extra six months they aged it for this time really made it much better than previous batches! I can't agree with the better than BCBS but it is very very good!

    This is really nice. After the past few barleywines ive had i have come to the conclusion that i dont love English barleywines like i thought i did. Barrel Aged english barleywines? Oh, i love them.

    Ill stick with american barleywines though if there is no barrel treatment.


    Also, this has a bit of a cherry note to it? Im only a few sips in so im not sure how i feel about it but whatevs.

    I'm not the picture taking guy at a brewery. But I had a great time at:

    GreenBush - hit a couple stouts
    Shoreline - hit a OK, oatmeal stout and a out of this world 2009 Lost Sailer Imperial stout

    Hit figure 8 for there black corridor!

    Damn fine night!

    Barleywine is my my favorite style and I really enjoyed that beer and had completely written that brewery off until I had that beer. It really blew me away and I was hoping the same for you.:flushed:
