    The can notes list vanilla beans, cacoa nibs, and lactose. I get those elements now that I know they're there, especially the vanilla beans. Anyway, a nice, pleasant coffee stout that is nicely balanced and complex.

    I loved playing bass on this in the med- late 80's in my buddy's ( the drummer, of course) garage. We had one gig and played this, Freebird, and Stepping Stone. Pretty eclectic. Ha!

    We’re now at Ludlam Island Brewing to pick up cans. But I can’t say no to a pour of Peanut Butter Thunder Jacket on cask. Always happy to see it on the board. Great variant of a first rate Milk Stout. And it tastes even better with T. Rex playing in the background.

    Fear the Voices, 7.8% IPA reminiscent of a west coast, but fruitier and not as bitter.

    Flipping the script on my usual weekends; NA only for now. After last night's Alchemist evening.

    Another below average Athletic Free Wave, as a recovery beverage.
    Wife caught me leaving for my 16 mile run this morning, knee still ****ling a bit. Been so rainy lately, hardly recognize Colorado (wink). But it's kept things cool and I'll take it. Big warm-up starts tomorrow.... be good to see how I handle the 80s-90s again. :wink:
