What beer are you drinking now? #3901

Actually, I haven't thought of him and haven't seen a movie of his since the 1990s, but that looks like a good sketch of him. Would say the jaw lines threw me off the trail.

Bought the beer because the name reminded me of my youth. Our family moved to Minnesota from California, early 70's when I was a teenager. After half a dozen job application failures I bought a short haired wig. First application, bingo I had a job as a busboy/dishwasher at a Perkins. Well, then I enlisted in 73 and got a real haircut.

 

This beer is part of the magnificent (IMHO) Sierra Nevada Fan Favorites mix pack, which I picked up over the weekend. I first had this in January at the Mankato MN beer fest, and I overrated it.

I adjusted my rating and wrote a review today, and I’m still +rDev, but I think more in line with what this beer is, which is a very nice fridge IPA to enjoy on the regular.

Last beer of the day, which was a great day. I spent some time visiting my mom, and bought a bunch of well aged beers. I love visiting my mom, but totally hate driving through the Twin Cities metro. At least I got out before rush hour kicked into high gear, and traffic got really stupid.

Back home in the 95 degree heat index, All Day Haze and more car waxing. Trying to decide on either Burlington VT or Waco TX for the 4-8-2024 solar eclipse. VT gets about 3:15 minutes of darkness, TX about 4:15 minutes of darkness

 

That's a tasty, malty classic we don't see enough of!
