    Recycled Pic, and yep I'm drinking another Jai Alai. I have to give a big thanks to @DoctorZombies for swinging by Ocala for lunch today and delivering the rest of the beers from Sheboygan I couldn't fit in my luggage. We enjoyed your epic 60 and 60 adventure and I'm glad to have been in a few parts of it!

    [​IMG] Bridge over Hwy 12 right after a bottle neck. Cars and bikes have been clocked going over 200 mph on this stretch of road...and I hear the pipes after midnight 6 miles away. Lots of racing.

    Hey BA!

    Found this beer by accident today. Never heard of this before and I never saw Crew Republic beers in supermarkets like Aldi.

    Strong hop aroma and flavor with orange peel and citrus. Used hops are Herkules, Tradition, Hersbrucker and Mosaic.
    Very refreshing and easy to drink. Mouthfeel could be a little bit softer but this is a really nice Helles and totally different to a traditional one because of its strong hop character.

    Glad they were sold in 4 packs and canned 06/14/2023, I'll buy more of these :slight_smile: I also like the design of the cans..

    Pours a clear, dark brown color at the pour, opaque in the glass; thin yet lasting head, khaki hued, dense and creamy. Rich toasted caramel aroma; dark coffee-like; roasted nuts. Rich dark malt flavor; bitter chocolate and sweet cocoa; vanilla; lightly boozy taste. Heavy body; very smooth and silky; deliciously coats the palate with rich residual sugars; modest alcohol warmth.

    This is a truly outstanding anniversary beer. I'm glad I accidentally ordered two bottles of this beer, as this one deserves to be experienced again.

    Daughter bought this salsa for me on a recent trip to OBX, NC. I like salsa, especially hot salsa. I tried some earlier today. Not sure how I survived! I think I lost some mouth and gum tissue. Also I think I developed an ulcer in that I had to eat two slices of bread to put out the fire.

    Hot as shit. Makes me wonder if there was something nefarious about her gift.

    ...I've ridden the Root River State Trail a couple of decades ago...I need to go back and re-explore the area (just like re-exploring / revisiting beers I've had from bygone eras)...looks like the Luce Line isn't too far away...hmmm....
