    1) Toppling Goliath Haze Bus (7.8% canned 4/24/23): A NEIPA from Iowa with Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra for flavors of orange flower, melon, mango, light herbal notes.
    versus
    2) Toppling Goliath DDH King Sue (7.8% canned 5/14/23): A NEIPA from Iowa with DDH Citra for flavors of lemon citrus, juicy pineapple. A clean and crisp, yet juicy finish. (Mismatched the two blind)

    Winner:
    2) Toppling Goliath DDH King Sue:
TG Haze Battle for The Fourth. Both are excellent NEIPAs with DDH King being dry-hopped and more fresh. It carries fantastic citrus flower and juicy pineapple flavors. Haze Bus has a touch more tropical notes from the Simcoe and Mosaic, but still packs a hoppy punch. Been drinking a lot of this one recently. The King is wonderfully juicy, zesty, while still drinking extremely clean and dry. Haze Bus is a close runner up though and straight out of the can these were pretty identical until they warmed a bit. No time for bad beer so drink what you like on The Fourth.

I remember seeing the ramen on the menu the last time I was there, and thought that would be interesting...but didn't get it. When a place has tacos in the name, that is what I get  Though, I have heard elsewhere the ramen is great, and now with your praise, I will have to get it next time.

Humble Forage Pin Seeker Pils (4.2%): A German Pilsner from Wisconsin with flavors of lemon citrus, lemonflower, with a bitter and light sweet finish.

Keeping the trend for another great American-made German Pils in collab with Fair State. Similar to the previous two, but slightly more lemon and sweetness. Still exceptional work and I’d buy any Pilsner with the Fair State name behind it. Still, slightly prefer their original pilsner.
    Today's Pilsner rankings:
    1) Fair State Pils (The most balanced and complex)
    2) Humble Forager Pils (Still complex, but leans sweeter)
    3) Strong Friend Moves (Crisp and slightly tamed all around)

This beer is phenomenal. The appearance and smell are pretty nice, but its true highlights are the rich, dense, and complex flavors and a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Per the bottle label, only 20 cases were produced in 2022.

I'll join you, sir, in sharing that fine beverage, albeit from a can here.

Cheers to you're going in on a keg of the stuff. Good choice!

An appropriately colored can on this Independence Day.
