A phenomenal 6% abv stout! @Resistance88 I’m sorry I don’t have another to send you! You’d love it! Almost like Alesmith, “Speedway Stout “ without the 12% abv!

    New Glarus IPA from a box of goodies courtesy of @brewskis when I met up with him last week. Thanks Jake for this super solid beer! I was enjoying it on the porch with one of the doggos before a hailstorm chased us in. It's been a trying year for keeping plants alive this summer!:grimacing:

    Poured a clear, dark brown color, opaque in the glass; fairly thick head, light khaki hue, dense and creamy; some sticky rings of foam around the glass. Intense dark and roasted malt grain nose infused with dark chocolate notes; coffee-like. Initial rich dark chocolate sweetness with a moderate bitterness; light mocha. Medium-heavy body; silky throughout with a touch of bitter dryness at the finish

    A relatively smooth dark rice lager with a sublime richness of flavor.
