Rain blew thru and dropped the temp to a decent 81. All Day Haze as we hang out back. When I retire I will end a 41 year relationship with the agency, that began in September 1982 at the US Army signal school at Ft. Gordon GA.

Back at home enjoying a “Triangle Theory “ Lager from First State Brewing Company!

 

I'm cleansing my palate from the Blueberry KBS with an all Citra DIPA, Dress Rehearsal from Funguys Brewing in Raleigh, NC. The can isn't dated but it's drinking fine.

 

All I know us I need to see the shipyards in Newport News and elsewhere in the harbor. There are so many being built I could see. Even the general dynamics shipyard was across the river from the museum. I love engineering.


Wasserhund party time. A great fruit lager. Aromas and flavors of big coconut, lemon, pineapple, pear, apple, bread dough, herbal, grass, light peppercorn/pine. Lt med pine, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness. Medium high carb and light med body. Crisp clean refreshing finish. Very clean lager flavors. Minimal warming 6.7%. Reaching lotiony notes on coconut, but the base lager is refreshing and not too sweet. Minimal complaints. 4/5

Glad you enjoyed it my friend! Yep, they're right down the street from 18th Street's Hammond location. They actually bought the Sour Note building once 18th Street closed down their sour program. Their beers have been pretty solid so far from what I've tried, with that one standing out the most so far. Cheers!

My take on Bine Cutter is, it straddles the line between fresh hop and DDH. The hop profile is so fresh.

Not so much what beer am I drinking now, as it is what beer am I about to sneak into the movie theatre and drink during the film…..Four bottles of Spaten Oktoberfest, two each for my wife and I as we see “Barbie.”

 

Ok, I’ll be the first to say it. I would need way more than two beers to sit through that film

 

This is the best idea I never thought of. Not sure if we're making it to Stowe but even if we done Heady is a shelf beer up here. Cheers!

 

Roaring Table Scamper Wagtail Golden Pub Ale (Cashmere, Wai-iti, Amarillo). Utilizes a Yorkshire Bitter yeast with fruity hops. Some banana and clove from the yeast, along with lemon, orange pith, grass, and slight pine. Infinitely drinkable. Roaring Table never disappoints.

 

Enjoying a good ole Jai Alai from the glass!
