Saved this one since December of last year. Like it a lot, especially when paired with a nice chocolate/peanut butter cup. Celebrating that Hurricane Hilary turned out to be a giant nothing-burger here in Orange County CA despite frantic text messages from the local emergency public service that we were all likely to die or be flooded in the best-case scenario. In the last 18 hours we have received only 1.7 inches of rain and the highest momentary gust was 21 mph....yawn.....

I can’t even imagine an elite athlete’s perspective where “mile 50” is a “fail.” Congratulations none-the-less for an admirable effort.

Comparatively, I pulled a couple dozen ear-less corn stalks and removed two metal fence posts. Sweat off two pounds of water, complained the whole time, then called it a day.

 

Interesting beer glass. I’ve been distracted lately and haven’t noticed that.
