    This is a special night, and I'm still a bit shocked that it's here. It's our oldest daughter's 18th, which is drinking age in my home country of Canada :wink:. I've been saving this bottle, which is 18 years old, for quite a while now. Her and I are sharing this one! Pennepot Grand Reserva 2005 from De Struise. Aged for 14 months on French oak and had a Calvados wood finish for another 8 months. Comes in at 10% ABV.

    This has aged really nicely. Tons of brandy, sherry, plums, raisins and oak.

    ...it's nothing more than a cheap Libby stackable stemless glass...okay for what it is, but two or three of the six have a rounded bottom...kind of gave up on the shaker pint glasses I've used for decades...

    Quiet as kept, while Nas is my favorite rapper, Biggie might have the greatest album of all-time in Life After Death. Flawless on so many levels. The perfect balance of pop-friendly and street. He had it all on this album. Much love from the Hunter and Stone IPA. Peace...

    I wanted to go see it. I wasn't interested when I first heard about it, but once I found out that it pissed a lot of people who annoy me off, I put it on my list. Spaten made it better though, ha
