    I drain poured it because it tasted pretty bad and I hated to do so because I hate wasting beer and hate wasting beer that cost like 18 bucks.

    Silva Stout...the only one I've ever had.... Not sure, probably about 2 years old I'd guess...One of the earlier bottles I got from a generous trader - before the trading circuit blew up like a bottle rocket...

    For tonight, enjoying several of these with family. Through all the trading, whale hunting, truck chasing, release party attending, beer store Facebook update checking (some of which can be fun)....every once in a while it is nice to stop in Walgreens and grab a delicious beer that requires no special effort to obtain.

    It was an 09 and the sweetness up front was fine but the super astringent paint thinner boziness was just completely not enjoyable. I got an ounce or two down in an hour or so and my wife gave up after a few sips.
