This seems a little “brighter” this year vs last fall’s iteration - the resiny pine and citrus notes are more pronounced, with the caramalt dialed back just a smidge. Absolutely love this old school WCDIPA.

Back from a pretty good Arkansas River Watershed tour with my class here in CO, where we also visited a bunch of trans-basin water diversions, pump stations, and some reservoirs. Fun times - now they know where their water comes from (and where it's NOT from, just as importantly).

Now? I'm chillin' out with a much deserved Focal Banger.

Yeah, the wife is still in Europe, so falling back into some old habits is a little easier.
She might come back a little heavier from all that cruise ship food, but she's gonna come back to a slightly thicker husband!
