What beer are you drinking now? #4007

Greetings Advocates!

So my neighbor friend joined me on a lap up our local Gunstock ski area.

Now joining me for a delicious seasonal beverage and some dominoes.

I gave him a rough choice!

1) Toppling Goliath MoZee (6.2% canned 7/10/23): A NEIPA from Iowa with Nelson and Mosaic for flavors of grapefruit, kiwi, mango, pineapple.
versus
2) Imprint Brewing Sunkissed (7.2% no canning date): A NEIPA from Pennsylvania with Citra, Mosaic, and Nelson for flavors of vinous white grapes, grapefruit, berry medley, and tropical pineapple. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
1) Toppling Goliath MoZee: NEIPA Battle of Nelson and Mosaic. Great hop combination. I had both rated these very high at 4.38 on my initial review so now the battle is on...
First off is Imprint Sunkissed. It's a triple dry-hopped and admittedly forgot I had this and no canning date so probably not as fresh as it could be. I remember this being one of the best IPAs I've had when fresh. Hops starting to fall off a bit, but still very good.
Next is MoZee. I don't know why the older date and lower ABV had me a bit worried. It's Toppling Goliath and it's absolutely World-Class. Still tons of great Nelson flavor here at three months. Look at that pour, and it's as smooth as it looks.

Sitting on the deck streamside at Cold Springs Inn having one of their Oktobeerfest Lagers. Dunno abv.
Pretty good brew, scenery even better.
Perfect time of the year for me.
I could sit out here all day & drink this brew, but we have other stops on our journey.

New Powder Dreams.
I'm still wondering if I like this or?.
Last time I had PDs it was pretty good.
This is pretty damn green and bitter upon first sip. Mosaic Lupulin Powder and Galaxy hops. This is weird so far.

Pipeworks Lizard King APA (Mosaic). Been a minute since I've had this one. Still that same great pale ale I loved years ago when Mosaic was still relatively new back in 2015. Blueberry skin, lemon, cannabis dank, grapefruit flesh and peel, floral, pine. Dry and refreshing with a firm bitterness.
