The best part is that Daryl was receptive to letting other people come in, from various genres, to give their interpretation. I love him for that.

I haven't had regular Bodhi in years, but that was a special beer.

A local Red Ale from Midwest Ale Works, Da Rougarou. 5.8% abv, featuring Barbe Rouge hops. A smooth, malty red ale with tropical fruit and red berry flavors, with a creamy finish. Filled today at the source. Cheers!

I love the OG too, but this one was what I saw first as a chap.

I love the horror classics as well!

First time trying Corona Familiar. It's pretty good, but not what I expected. This whole time I thought it was a dark lager like Modelo Negra. Huh. Oh well. I like it. I'd definitely drink it again.

After cleaning the kitchen, I thought it was appropriate to dive into some Swami's before taking Jeter on a walk. He likes this idea. He wants me to settle in w/ my thoughts. Cheers!

    Blidegarian Imperial Stout
375 ml. bottle with no discernible date.

Moderate pour yields a 1 & a 1/2 inch tan head over a near black body with scant lacing.
Head recedes down to a thin cap in a few minutes.

Nose of bitter chocolate and bitter coffee.

Taste is bitter chocolate, bitter coffee, milk chocolate, malted milk.
As it warms, flavors improve greatly and becomes less bitter.

Nice mouthfeel with low to medium carbonation.

Overall, this is much better at about 50-55 F.
Flavors are somewhat hidden at colder temps.
That being said, I like it and would recommend!
    Cheers!!

    See ya round...

I know we are in different time zones. But you and I share an affinity for a clean kitchen. Almost midnight here. Could not rest with it dirty. Wife thinks I’m nuts.

    Edit: goddamn I sound like @vabeerguy and I’m only 30. :stuck_out_tongue::wink:
