Table must be clean, sink empty and the countertop Lysol wipe’d down. Dishwasher ran.

I haven’t been as corrupted lately. Haven’t had Makers in months. Need to correct that…

 

Those standards gone years ago. Luckily lived in pest free environments for decades.

 

I have memories of living at my grandmothers house as a late teen. The dishes would be up to the ceiling. Not her fault she was a double shift ER nurse/hospice worker. Made it my point to do all that shit: no dishwasher, no garbage disposal.

Made it a point to clean that shit to say thank you for housing me. Wanted no extra work on her. Stuck with me!

We did have the occasional mice in the walls.

 

I feel I have failed you. No Makers Mark! Life goes on though.

Long story short: Grew up in Indiana, and have really fond memories of Little Caesar's. As a kid growing up in the 70's, whenever we went back to Michigan to visit family, my Uncle would take me there and they actually had dining rooms and a wait staff! (They're based in MI and they weren't in Indiana at the time.) Such a great memory!

 

Home late from work. Missed the Phillies pummel the Braves. Opened one of my favorites and watching highlights of the game. That stare down, thing of beauty.
