Thanks for asking! Yes, sir...NE Mountain Running Championship at Cranmore was Saturday.

Went great, perfect weather. Awesome 2-lap course with sick downhill via the mountain bike trail. Any other day of the week you'd get booted out of there for running on it, but the race claims it for the morning. The 53% max grade climb was annoying the 2nd time around haha. I lost a lot of time on that sucker. Anyhoo... qualified as a 2023 USATF-NE Mountain Goat, and will get to bypass the lottery for Mount Washington next year as a result. Those were the goals this year.

Still waiting on manually compiled final circuit standings for the season to be updated. I'll post about this one last time with my Mt. Goat shirt once I know my season results.

Can't wait to do it all again next year! Cheers!

 

I'd like to visit that one, but it's not a big seller around here so most of the inventory is really old. Like a year or more ..

$3 Real Ale Hans Pils in the glass, which is an excellent and underrated Pils. With a classic Shaking Beef...

 

Next is Live Oak Hefe for another $3 Texas beer...



And oh yeah, just down the block is Johnny's Gold Brick for a $2 Old Fashioned.

I find that it's a good filter to sort out the troglodytes from those who still FUCKING. READ. Not that I have strong feelings or anything but I did feel a bit like a patient in Ward 13 on Sunday after the latest booster. Good on you!
