Pumpkin Beer Appreciation Thread (2023)

My traditional favorite.

 

A local one I found last week that I’m really liking: Evil Genius, “Trick or Treat “ Chocolate Pumpkin Porter! Very well balanced and not over done with pumpkin spice!

 

Tired Hands, 2022 “Only Void “ Imperial Stout with pumpkin spice, maple syrup and vanilla!

 

I enjoyed drinking a small draft pour of Trick or Treat yesterday at the Kennett Square Beer Festival.

This beer enhances a beautiful fall evening.

 

As if the world isn't in bad enough shape (WAR! EPIDEMIC!), apparently pumpkin beer sales have been reviving, according to stats from the Twitter account of Good Beer Hunting's Bryan Roth.

Elysian,”Night Owl “ Pumpkin Ale! A little too sweet for my taste, but a solid offering!

 

This may be my favorite pumpkin beer.

 

I loved this one when I had it 2 years back. I need to get more if I see it

 

This is a special beer.

 

This was part of the Elysian Brewing, “Pumpkin Pack “. It consists of 12 beers, all pumpkin varieties, 4 styles, 3 each. This is “Punkuccino” coffee pumpkin ale. It was actually quite good!

First time for me. I'm not big on pumpkin beer but enjoy a few this time of year. I can understand why this one is well-regarded. Prominent pumpkin pie smell but not overwhelming in the taste. Nicely done.

 

My 200th pumpkin beer review! This was a solid choice for such an occasion.

Red Rock - Pumpkin Chocolate Chip



I enjoy lactose beers for a number of reasons, and it's a great addition here. This is really more like a cookie than pie (better this way imo).
Nice full chocolate, well balanced pumpkin, but not gourdy, and a touch of cinnamon and clove. Definitely a dessert beer

 

Love these from Elysian. I had someone ship me 2 12-packs last year.

 

I really enjoyed the “Punkuccino “. I haven’t tried the “Dark ‘o the Moon” yet. Probably tomorrow. My friend loves it, and I’ve been looking for it, but only found it in the 12 pack!

 

I love me some Punkucinno. I wish they had it in 6 packs or in some kind of single format. It used to come in 22s in the way back. I'd take whatever I can get. The other beers in the 12 pack are fine but Punkucinno is my favorite by far.
