    Looney Lager, a Kellerbier from German brewery Camba Bavaria (4.9%).

    This makes for a very modern interpretation of a rather traditional style, being quite fruity and slightly resinous, although with some grassy, herbal accents as well. I've never had Tango hops before and they really impressed me here with distinct passion fruit, pineapple and grapefruit notes.

    I enjoy it but I enjoy other dopplebocks more it opens up as it warms for sure. Idk why but I favor Andechs.

    Hey Dave,
    That looks mighty good! I am not sure why FW calls these a Quad other than maybe they used that yeast? FWIW I always thought the Stickee Series being a Strong ale or Barleywine.
    Out of my morbid curiosity it appears that this is a Tavour purchase which is quite a haul LOL!

    I don't know anything, really, about the base beer, but this is one heck of a fine beer...their use of rye and orange bitters barrel aging really set this one apart...

    Nice! Wren House is definitely a top tier Lager brewer in the PHX area in addition to the very nice IPA's they produce. Looks like you are having a great day David!

    Stickee Monkee was self-labeled as a "Central Coast Quad" brewed with Belgian Candi Sugar. The website makes no mention of the yeast so who cares...enjoy!
