Back home with a VooDoo 1985 IPA, breezy and 65 degree temp, I love it!

 

Seems too early in the year for this ruby red holiday Classic. Then again, there were snow flurries in North Central PA today when I was up there so drink 'em while ya got 'em.

Man, I wasn't expecting a slow day today here at the virtual bar, but it's certainly easier to catch up who's been drinking what!

This sounds amazing right now

Going into a hazy pale I've tried a few times but have yet to really form an opinion on it.

Templin Family - Wicked Sea Party


Canned 9.25.23 - freshest I've seen it

Darker tangerine orange and hazy body with a very loose soda like white head. 3.75

Nice tropical juicy aroma, slightly sweet. 3.5

Taste is where this thing throws me. Lots of dank herbal hops, and fairly strong orange rind/pith. 3

Body is creamy with a subtle mouthcoating and moderate carbo. 3.25

Overall this is a well loved local hazy pale, but it just doesn't quite hit me like I'd expect. 3.25

Great dark lager from the home team, Civil Society brewing. One of my favorite of their seasonal offerings.

 

Sipping the same. Quite nice. Seasonal creep don't apply on this chilly night.
What say you on the ME Grand Cru? Never tried it, prolly gonna pick one up, but like to hear from someone who's tasted it, specially vis-a-vis the OG ME.

 

Covert Artisan Fort Isak BBA Imperial Stout, 13.8% ABV. I rated this 4.43. Luckily there is no such thing as too much Blanton's.

This is very close to the OG. I can tell by the aroma alone..
I changed my avatar. The World is fkd right now and I don't think giving the finger is going to help. We need meditation and self-reflection and the ability to try to understand each other. Sorry to get sappy but damn something needs to change.
