They are a jam band, so most of the live tracks they release on Youtube and social media are very jammed out versions of the songs. Their studio album "For Amusement Only" would be a good place to start.

Friday evening we had some friends and family for a little holiday soiree. A variety of Mad Elf beers were sampled.

Naked Elf, Mad Elf 2023, 2022, and 2020, Grand Cru 2023, and Bourbon Barrel Aged 2022.

Opinions were all over the place. Some preferred the Naked Elf or Mad Elf 2022. A few didn't care for the Grand Cru or bourbon. I pretty much enjoyed all of it; the differences are part of what I like about them.

My cousin thought the 2020 can was different from 2022, but I couldn't tell. Seems to me aging them 3 years doesn't accomplish much.

This is our second year doing this and I'm hoping to keep the tradition going for a while.

From last night...Just sending out a bat signal for @TongoRad look what finally returned from Tonewood, hope it gets up your way; first B-Town brewed batch and its so smooth and clean. Also more beer, same price as they have moved it to six packs!!!

They also rebrewed Focal Point for the first time in over a year; as per their post the most recent batch spent three long months lagering away. I will have one this weekend and send out another bat signal, hoping it is as glorious as that first time it was brewed up.

I have no idea why but I have really been craving Freshies recently, I can't even tell you the last time I had it but for some weird reason, I can't stop thinking about it. Time for another beer store trip I guess

Was down in Philly earlier tonight. My wife wanted to get some cocktails at the bar Martha in Kensington. Cool spot, good beer list as well. Then we walked down the block to Philadelphia Brewing. Had a pint of the Black Cat lager. I really liked it, moderately roasty, hoppy, and dry finish.
