A Costco advent beer, not too bad but one of my least favorites from the box

I totally endorse this post chef! Daily after my 3-5 mile walk I sit and download my data while pounding a liter of zero calorie Powerade. It's either 2 for $3 or 10 for $10 at Publix, money well spent!

 

Drekker Chonk Strawberries & Cream Sundae Sour, 6.2% ABV. Pours opaque light-red with a one-finger pink head that left puree residue. Nose is strawberry, lactose, marshmallow, and vanilla. Taste follows, with strawberry stealing the show, quite sweet, slightly tart. Thick and creamy mouthfeel, overall outstanding. One of their best sundae-sours.

Gotta get going on reviews and clear out my fridge with dryuary coming up, particularly these sundae sours that have to be refrigerated so they don't explode.

 

My taco pics are never impressive but this shrimp one was awesome. Big Nose IPA, I need to shop for beer tomorrow after shooting practice.

 

That's great. Sounds like something that'd happen to you on acid and you some how come out the end alive.

 

Thanks for the tip. I figure since I'm not a big water drinker I should drink something that gives me more hydration for the buck. My daughter gave me some packets to mix in my water.

 

This one shows the 12% and sweet as hell.

Another new to me brewery . 8 Bit Brewing (CA) True Brewmance WCIPA (Mosaic)

 

A home-brewed old ale that came my way via @The_Kriek_Freak. It has fantastic depth in the aroma: stewed prunes, figs, vanilla, caramel, bourbon and fortified wine. The taste is a bit thinner, with some leather and earthiness added to the mix. A pleasure to try.

 

Taco looks good to me. My wife made her Italian sausage soup tonight. Might not look the most inviting, but boy is it tasty. Italian sausage, kale, gold potatoes, onions, bacon, chicken broth, spices, and heavy cream.

 

Looks and sounds really good and impressive to me,please send your wife my respect.
