KBS Spicy Chocolate. Yum. First relatively cold day of the past week so it's a good evening to enjoy it.

 

3 Floyds Cimmerian Sabertooth Berserker DIPA. It's been years since this one has been made and now it's going to be a yearly release by them. Pure nostalgia for this local fanboy. Used to the 22 oz. bombers for this beer, but these cans will do. The new version is only 82 IBU's compared to 100 in the old one, but that's expected given today's palate's.
Surprisingly very similar compared to my old review of this one. Sweet, slightly bready malt. Hops bring loads of navel orange, kumquat, ruby red grapefruit, some floral, dank, big orange and grapefruit peel, pine resin. It's bitter enough, but I wish it was still 100 IBU's. Wonderful stuff.

A little different story here....
This is a local brewery... That brewed a brew that tastes like a local grocery store famous cookie. Lable as "White Stout"
Definitely worth a review... An it in a 16oz can.... If you are from the Canton area Fishers Foods has fallen on hard times... They are down to 1 store... Once had 9 stores in the Canton areas....

Notch Tenner is my dinner beer tonight.

 

Fat Heads Imperial Head Hunter DIPA. Still drinking mighty fine. Great hop/malt balance. Hops bring plenty of citrus flesh and peel, along with pine resin. Great stuff.

Man, that makes me think of a local grocery chain here that had locations all over Northern Nevada and a few in Northern California. They’re down to just two now. If you were a little kid you could walk up to the bakery and get a fresh made cookie free of charge. Oh well…

 

An IPA brewed by Ardent. Mike, all Virginia brewed beers tonight? Yes, the next will be too.

 

No trip to Copaigue for me this year. Advocate trade brought several of their beers to me. Have you visited their location?
