The black print according to Google Translate says Specialty Brew Research Project. The white print is the name of the beer.

Don't even get me started. I stuck with familiar beers as not in the mood to do any ratings, but I picked up a four pack each of Tom Skilling and the one I really came for, Regeneration Station which was brewed in part with 200 gallons from Schiller Woods where we would take the dogs (Cumberland and Irving Park), with the rest brewed using their typical water at the brewery. Giving a can each to a WGN fan who grew up two blocks away from the Woods (we were four and a half miles). Also grabbed their WCIPA Destination Moon.

Should be able to finish the four pack before Tom finishes his forecast.

Dan Garza as always with the artwork. The place by me sold out within an hour. I believe 74 cases were headed to Wisconsin but they nixed that to fill demand at the brewery, as people were leaving with cases. Wonder if any will be enjoyed, or are they all going on ebay or wherever stuff is sold these days.

#2, more beer fridge cleanup, this is 2-1/2 years old and drinking better than it did then, IMHO. It isn’t as sweet, and the cinnamon is delicious. Absolutely love it.

Drekker Wild Prrrty Cola Cherry Cola Style Sour, 6.4% ABV. Pours opaque blood-red, with no head. Aroma is cherry. Taste is strong cherry and slight cola, moderately sweet, slightly tart. Decent mouthfeel, overall excellent. Unusual beer. Really great cherry, not medicinal.

Better late than never. Really enjoyed this one tonight. Just malty and sweet enough on this chilly, wet evening. Also, 9.5%. That helps.

Central Waters' Brewer's Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout (10.8% canned 2023): A BBA Stout from Wisconsin with flavors of bourbon, maple, chocolate with hints of coffee, caramel, and bread pudding.

Tried this one last year and was pretty new to BBA Stouts. Revisiting it this year for a second try. The bourbon hits pretty hard upfront. Some hints of coffee before a smooth caramel, maple, and sweet malt profile. Sort of low and flat on the carbonation. Again, I am no expert in BBA Stouts. It showcases the bourbon flavors well I'll admit. Evolves into some complex malt flavors, but lacks some of the traditional stout flavors and sort of flat. Probably better if you really like bourbon. Maybe I'm getting picky, but if I'm going to commit to 10+ ABV, I'll probably find another.
