If it is Willett, the quickest way to sell the remaining stock is to announce that. Price is on higher end, but once you attach that Willett label, same guys complaining would end up hoarding bottles

But that's not how every other boutique blenderies work. Shrouding oneself in permanent mystery IS the name of the game.

It isn't Willet unless it is the shit willet, like in Rowan's Creek or the Pot Still.

It's obviously most likely to be MGP, as someone else already stated.

That price for MGP juice is, what, like 70% higher than what you can get same-aged MGP juice elsewhere? Par for the course.

Oops, I had the blends mixed up. I meant to ask about the latest, which is indeed b7.

maybe it’s because of the other partners involved? Sp is all his, this venture I believe it’s a few parties in the pot

7 years old, I could be their own but I highly doubt it. Didn’t toppling drop some whiskey recently, do we know if that is mpg?

If they were making it themselves, they would certainly advertise it. That is its own craft, and normally when a blender plans to make their own, they advertise that they have their juice aging (see bardstown as an example).

Also, almost for sure, being brand new, their juice would be highly inferior compared to MGP. How many brands will do it is use MGP, eventually blend in their own, and then transition to their own juice after they (1) have been successful in creating a good product (so worked out the kinks, tweaked the mash bill, process, yeast strains and so on), and (2) have a reputation to ride on. A slow transition helps remove that hard edge of, “this doesn’t taste like last year. Oh wait, it’s their own juice. Of course it doesn’t taste the same”.

Between the 3 locations, there are two Side Project stouts available on draft on on-site bottles. (Time Lapse on draft, Parallels in bottles.)

I'm sure they mowed through some supply during Stout Week, but it's really disappointing to have no bigger options while the weather is still appropriate for a big beer.

I understand your point, but they do have anabasis draft and bottles at both locations and MJK bottle pours. I am shocked that BBT 23 isn't available still though.

I think it might be “For Sam”. I think there was a sneak peak label a few months ago on their instagram story and it was other half’s 10th anni last month.

Not sure if it was mentioned already, but in the LC Survey they asked if Shipping of bottles is something we would be interested in.

agreed. They already use their customers as distributors successfully, why would they take more of that on? Still annoys me they ask the question though, knowing that yes, many would like their beer shipped.

It’s also illegal for them to ship out of state, it’s within the past 3 years that it became legal to ship in state.

Beer isn’t liquor. Shipping wine in MO is perfectly legal so I would think liquor probably is.

There's no use in trying to make sense of our dumbass liquor laws. It's all cobbled together remnants of prohibition partly propped up by greedy distributors trying to keep their middle man status coupled with some puritanical legislators that cling on to every remaining restriction they can.

Well Tavour can ship me Side Project so maybe there is a way. I doubt they would do this just for LC purposes, but maybe they are looking for ways to ship beer direct to customers.
