2022 Liefman’s Goudenband. Yes, neither stout nor barleywine, but I rather enjoy the style. This is drinking very crisply, with a restrained tartness. Lacing for days. Much too easy to knock down.

Why is the label all lopsided? After the gig last night I showered at 11 PM because I was sweaty and smelly. Showers wake me up. I went to bed at 3:30 AM, got up at 7 to feed doggo, so my brain is a little unconcerned with details right now.

P.S. The label is all wonky because they put it on wrong. Yeah. They put it on wrong.
