This beer is not too shabby. A bit thick but refreshing and more affordable than tank 7 ( one of my faves).

Crosstown Brewing Lucky Chompers Helles Lager

Shimmering light gold color with substantial white cap that lasts and lasts leaving good lacing behind.

Aroma of sweet malt and spicy/floral hops with malt foremost.

Hits the palate with malt richness that stops just short of being over much. Hops ride along atop this malt bus like noticable but unobtrusive luggage. Hops are more floral than spicy yet cut the malt sweetness just enough.

Medium full texture with balancing carbonation.

It's not Augustiner but is furlongs ahead of our usual corn fed AALs masquerading as Lagers.
