...I love oak for our fireplace...can't always find it (makes me wish I still lived east of the Mississippi River), but hardwood is the way to go...

Love that place. Ardsley store a must stop when I visit family there. Fantastic beer selections. Great food too. Wish they had one down here.

I quit fertilizing my lawn - the cost of fertilizer is ridiculous now. I have 3/4 of an acre and last time I checked, Scott's was $80 for 15000 sq feet. So that's basically $240 and my lawn still burns off when it gets hot so it's not worth it to me.

Well, I'm hoping they come back tonight since I set up a trail cam overlooking the area.

Nitro is hit or miss for me,I think this doesn't need it. Was just cleaning the garage and have several boxes laying around so if you want some ill look this week and send you some.

Yes they are. It's going to be awhile.
It was a fire in the ductwork caused by grease. The system was in full compliance- had been cleaned professionally in January. The sprinkler system worked but since the fire started outside it wasn't effective. It's pretty damn depressing -we had literally just finished remodeling my kitchen area with the new range, lighting, tile and paint. The weird thing is the downstairs kitchen where the fire occurred had been closed for at least 2 hours before it started. The fire is actually causing the RI Fire Inspector to change the way they do things. It's going to much more thorough going forward.

I haven't seen it lately, but I think they did for a while. My favorite is their Munich Dunkel, but so far they have only made that every once in a while for the taproom. Their lagers are almost all excellent though.

Well hopefully they're back in business sooner than later - sounds like at least a modicum of good came out of it. Are you able to collect unemployment in the meantime?

That sucks. Some trees don't reach full maturity. But on a lighter note, there are oulde poems about ash wood and its "ready to burn" status from long ago. Ash wet or ash dry a king shall warm his slippers by.

Yes - we do have turkeys around here but I haven't seen any recently. They're usually strolling around in the morning.

Yep. Me as well. Now we have irrigation and that's all we need. Less chemicals. I'm actually surprised by how many folks near me use fert. We're close to lakes and tribs. Lots of marsh.
