I can’t speak to how Holler was “before”, but when I was there in December it struck me as a bit … strange. All, like, blue and purple lighting, like you’re in a nightclub or something. The beer wasn’t too bad, but the vibe was just kinda weird.

Good afternoon all. Drinking a Sierra Nevada Cold Torpedo IPA. Not bad, but not my favorite Torpedo. Cheers!

 

Oh yeah, it has always been a bit strange in that regard. As well as just not having a very good music playlist, that is way to loud (yeah I'm that guy, but don't play club music on a Sunday afternoon, don't care later at night). Though John Holler made the best lagers and English styles, on cask no less. Which made up for a lot of that for me ha. All his beers are still being made...though in name only. They are all very much lackluster to what they were...OK done ranting. It is what it is now, I'll leave it at that

 

Lawson's Sip of Sunshine as the sun sets, a wonderful day walking, eating and drinking in Burlington VT today. Amazingly enough several grocery stores had Sip, Heady, Focal and Second on the shelves, my kind of town.

National Beer Day? I can definitely do this day, because my wife couldn’t get through national no housework day today.

Going to have the fillet and peppers with some of the leftover shrimp and garlic lemon pasta from the Cheesecake Factory.

 

Rising Tide Nikita Rye Russian Imperial Stout- a ton of dark chocolate in this one even though none was added.

Also, @flagmantho I would have to look through my pictures, but I might of deleted it. When Holler came out with a spot on Sasion Dupont clone (essentially), I took a picture of that glorious new offering...and in the background there was no less than three Houston area brewers that i know, all drinking his Dollar Pils. It was a place that all the brewers went to for their pils and lager fixes, which says tons. Now, none of them go. OK, NOW I'm done ranting
