    New Glarus Kid Kolsch (5.5%): A Kolsch-style beer from Wisconsin with flavors of fruity yeast, pale bread and pale malts. Smooth.

    A nice Spring release from New Glarus. I always make sure to pick a few of these up. Fruity, yeasty, bready. Smooth. I'd say it focuses more on the mouthfeel than the flavor. Overall it drinks really nicely for the style. Will be enjoying more of these.

    I was supposed to go to Bert the Elephant Belgian Bar in Lancaster PA tonight for my birthday, but the wife wound up in the hospital getting surgery.
    On the bright side, I have the house to myself, can drink as much as I wish, walk around naked and don't have to cook. Always an upside I guess?
    Having an Ayinger Maibock right now. Had a Sam Adams Boston lager draft with lunch at a really cool spot called Fyre Lounge. Kind of a Bhutanese fusion type thing? The food was amazing! They had Taj Mahal in bottle, but I passed.
    I've got a few goodies stashed away to crack open tonight after visiting the ole' lady at the hospital.
