    look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

    Pours a clear, dark brown color, looks opaque in the glass; thick, light khaki colored head, dense and creamy. Great chocolate aroma with a touch of toasted coconut. Nice, balanced malt and chocolate flavor; slight overall bitterness; subdued sweetness; a bit of coconut in the background. Medium body; smooth; delicate residual sugar feel on the palate.

    A lightweight yet flavorful porter.


    ...anticipating a near full day of smoking tomorrow...will wet brine some salmon once it cools and let the fish sit overnight before air drying and then applying a dry rub...also have brats and three big rib eyes planned for tomorrow, too...

    I've been looking for that beer around here - I'm only like 6 or 7 miles from the brewery, but I have yet to see it show up anywhere.
